The tiniest of microfictions; okay, autobiography

If I were going to submit a sentence to onesentence, this is the one I would submit:

I never thought I would be the type of person to freak out about turning forty; it turns out I was wrong about that.

 

Update: So, I did submit it. As soon as I hit the submit button, I had a mini panic attack because I thought, “Oh, wait, did I really just make this up myself or did I read this somewhere else? ‘Cause I remember the exact moment this phrase popped into my head, so I must have thought of it all by myself……… “
